With the continual dry & warm weather we have no choice but to continue with the fire ban for the Gathering as recommended by Derbyshire fire service.
Although we cannot give a comprehensive list of which items will be allowed and which will not, fire pits, BBQs including lidded/enclosed types, naked flames, smokers, candles, camping stoves with the small screw type gas canister that are easy to knock over will not be allowed.
The use of proper gas camping stoves sitting on a suitable table with a supply of water and possibly a fire blanket on hand are allowed for cooking or boiling water purposes only.
As always we ask everyone to remain vigilant at all times and that all cigarettes and glass bottles are disposed of responsibly. And again a reminder to everyone not to camp under trees due to the risk of branches falling.
